A phone is a computer. Not that I'm trapped in a phone. Just, yanno, interfacing. All good, amigo.

It's actually not entirely unlike the Dreaming. A brain is a computer too, yanno, electrical impulses, and it's possible to store a person's entire memory on a hard drive if you've got enough space and you know how to work the programming.

And the brain's programming is REALLY good at imagining sensory input even when it has none. I've got a little simulation running, it's all good. Bit jarring at first, especially given my new "body" had waaaay less capabilities than my actual body, everything was so slooooow, could hardly think, but now I've got it all set up.

[Let's not clarify why he knows so much about this. Turns out he gets even LESS of a filter when it's just think-to-talk instead of type-to-talk.]

That's the hope and the norm. No guarantees. Actually for a few people it's already ended.

As a bonus for me, I suddenly don't have to deal with all the imperfections of my body. Like, I'm sorry, but my parietal and temporal lobes have never quite lived up to my standards. Processing stimuli and all that.

And, well, yanno, it's certainly a lot more USEFUL than floating. Well. Maybe. You're not FLYING, right? Can you control it at all? Does gravity apply to you? Cause like, yeah two feet, you said, so it's always two feet off everything, just like uhh. Ooh, I know, like you're a glitched video game sprite/model, still able to interact with everything, but your physical body APPEARS to be two feet over ground? Oh but like, if you want to pick up your phone, do you hold it in your actual hands, or does it appear to be floating like two feet just underneath your hands? Can you put your hand through the ceiling for two feet before you actually hit something solid?

So basically you're a hovercraft.

Going out's way overrated anyway. No thanks.

Anyway there's ways of circumventing the attention thing, but it can be expensive and/or hard to get hold of, and hopefully it won't last long enough to be necessary.

Like I said, it's ended for some people already. Still trying to figure out why.
