Um, hello! Has anyone seen the Doctor recently? I don't know if you know him, he's tall and skinny, big brown eyes, hair like a mad rooster? Only I haven't seen him in more than a week and he isn't answering his phone, and it'd be just like him to get into trouble. [beat] Oh! I'm Charley, by the way, I'm a friend of his.

I mean, I might be overreacting; he might just have been hiding in the TARDIS for the last week, I don't know, but I thought I'd ask. And that'd be lovely, thank you. Oh, sorry, I don't even know who you are.

She, uh, isn't terribly fond of me. I'd hope concern for the Doctor would trump any other... personal difficulties, but one never knows.
