I'm sorry I haven't reached out to you before; I was (and am) unsure if you desire contact with me. However, it seemed inappropriate not to address the situation.

I would like you to know that while I still regard you very fondly, I do not consider you mine anymore, nor do I expect you to feel anything in particular towards me. I would welcome your company if you have any interest in mine, but I shall not force it on you. I appreciate that you must have complicated feelings regarding me, and if you wish to avoid the problem altogether, I will not be offended. If, however, you (or the Doctor) require my help, know that I am at your service.

I hope you are well, or at least as well as can be expected in this unfamiliar universe. It saddens me that you have been confined here like this, and I wish for a swift return home, for all of us.
