I think the classic style is too obviously aristocratic, needs more mystery. 'Not sure' reads as 'broken in a fight' at first glance. I'll have to give the other two some thought.

trolls UsUally have black hair, bUt i mUch prefer white too. and who's to say there might not be some fancifUl mUtations! ^u^
obvioUsly yoU can also have whichever blood coloUr yoU wish.
i simply went with yoUr natUral red to start with.
bUt a shade of blUe woUld be very fetching! to match yoUr eye coloUr, perhaps.
yoU make excellent points regarding the horns. these were jUst the first bUnch that came to mind.
